Description
Well, this will sound funny, but many people have panic of failing... this small comic is the proof I have panic from success...
Why? Time for little stories...
Back in 2008, when I made this, I was on a drawing spree and tried to make my first amateur comic out of nothing, with no knowledge of actually how to make a comic story.
I did page per page, I was thinking on the next page as I was finishing one, there were no such thing as a scrip.
The result was better than I excpected, many people liked it and I even recieved some notes about publishin' in on some Fanzines.
And then... I was terrified! I did not know how to act, what to do, if I could supply so many people expectations! I couldn not finish the comic, I couldn't even answer the notes about the fanzines and stuff... My mind locked up and I gave up drawing for a while. (Yes, I'm fucked up, huh?)
I mean, I just needed to keep it going, I had the last two pages already spread out in my mind I was producing one/two pages a day... was a matter of hours to finish it, people liked it already and was expecting the conclusion... and I just froze up 'cause I could not deal with it. Yeah, babe, that's me.
Now I'm here, coming back in my Illustrator career prisuit and I decided to post it all in one, so I can put it complete on some groups and have some visibility, maybe.
**End of story**
About the comic itself: This is a short, one shot, comic of my Steampunk OC Janett Trickflash, some character development can be found [link] [link] and [link]

Your poses, angles and expressions are wonderful. You have a good eye for the best of all three to show a good story. The action flows and everything is visually coherent. I gave you a little slack on the dialog because I know English is your second language. That said, you did a lot better than some other people I know who are in the same situation. A bit of help from a Brit, American, Canadian or Aussie just to polish up some of the sayings and grammar context is all this needs.
(I remember asking you several years ago for you to draw a comic I was writing. Seeing this makes me wish you'd said yes. No hard feelings though. I'm still a big fan of your work.)
